The first Conference on Science and Technology: “Natural Resources and Environment towards Sustainable Development” – HCMC University for Natural Resources and Environment will be held on 14 December 2012. The aim is to bring together national and international academics, educators, business representatives and policy-makers involved in Natural Resources and Environment sector to exchange and discuss on their research works as well as current science – technology trend towards sustainable development.

2. PAPER SELECTION AND PUBLICATION
Papers submitted will be reviewed and selected for publication in the conference proceedings by the Scientific Committee. Limited number of papers will be further reviewed for oral presentation at the conference and publication in special issues of Natural Resources and Environment Journal – Vietnam Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and Environmental Protection Journal – Vietnam Environment Administration.
3. REGISTRATION AND PAPER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

4. SCIENTIFIC PAPER FORMAT
The page limit for final papers is eight (08) single-spaced pages in 12 point Times New Roman font, left margin 3 cm, right margin 2 cm, top margin 2.5 cm and bottom margin 2.5 cm (including tables and figures). Abstracts should be between 100-200 words and contain study aims, research methods, and brief description of results.

02 July – 15 August 2012:Register the conference and submit paper abstract via email address:.
16 August - 30 August 2012:Scientific Committee reviews and selects abstracts for inviting full paper submission.
31 August – 15 October 2012:Notify authors the result of abstract review. Selected authors submit full papers.
16 October – 01 November 2012:Notify which papers to be published in the journals and to be presented at the conference. Authors revise and re-submit the paper according to Scientific Committee’s comments.
16 August - 30 August 2012:Scientific Committee reviews and selects abstracts for inviting full paper submission.
31 August – 15 October 2012:Notify authors the result of abstract review. Selected authors submit full papers.
