CITES COP 16

The 16th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 16) to the Convention in International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) is scheduled to convene in March 2013. CITES was adopted in Washington D.C. on 3 March 1973, and the 40th anniversary of the Convention will be celebrated at the March 2013 event.
