Industry Visit to North East New Territories (NENT) Landfill
Landfill is the final destination of waste; but, the story of waste continues. At the North East New Territories Landfill (NENT Landfill), leachate treatment system and landfill gas management system have been installed to manage these two pollutants properly. In addition, landfill gas has been turned into synthetic natural gas, a renewable clean energy, for commercial use. You are invited to join the BEC Industry Visit on 20th February (Wednesday) to NENT Landfill, a 35 million square meters non-hazardous solid waste disposal facility in Hong Kong.
