Submission to the Subcommittee on Issues Relating to Air, Noise and Light Pollution regarding ‘Current Legislation and Administrative Measures on the Control of Noise Pollution and the Associated Public Expenditure’

In response to the administration’s paper, ‘Current Legislation and Administrative Measures on the Control of Noise Pollution and the Associated Public Expenditure’, prepared by the Environment Bureau (ENB) and Environmental Protection Department (EPD), Civic Exchange submitted a document to the Subcommittee on Issues Relating to Air, Noise and Light Pollution to share its comments on the issues mentioned in the paper. The document suggests the mitigation measures on noise pollution including construction noise, industrial and commercial noise, noise from domestic premises and public spaces, aircraft noise, road traffic and vehicle noise, railway noise and marine traffic noise.
