Drainage Services Department has been putting much focus on enhancing existing green areas and introducing greening to maximise greening opportunities in its sewerage facilities. In connection with planning goals of Kai Tak Development, which aims at building green web for sustainable development and providing quality living environment, the Department has introduced greening measures in Kowloon City Sewage Pumping Stations to bring aesthetic and environmental benefits to the surroundings and nearby residents. BEC will organise an Industry Visit to Kowloon City Sewage Pumping Stations on 21 November 2013 (Thursday).
