Announcement of the revision of the Basic Policy concerning the Promotion of Contracts considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and others by the State and Other Entities 

A draft of the Basic Policy concerning the Promotion of Contracts considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and Others by the State and Other Entities, which is based on the law concerning the Promotion of Contracts considering Reduction of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases and Others by the State and Other Entities (Green Contract Law), was compiled by the MOE with experts. Public comments on this draft of the Basic Policy were received from November 12 to December 10, 2013.

Finally the revision of the Basic Policy was adopted by the Cabinet on February 4th, 2014.

The main revised part is the added description in the article of ESCO. It is added that the room for the introduction of ESCO project shall be verified when a facility is planned for repairing and/or improving the main equipment.
