Business Environment Council is happy to be a supporting partner of the conference in International Conference on Solid Waste 2013: Innovation in Technology and Management which will address the most up-to-dated technology and strategies in waste management.

The major objectives include: 

• Share and elevate the strategies, planning and regulatory guidance that would facilitate sustainable waste management, 
• Explore innovative technological developments that would facilitate resource recovery from waste and the reduction of carbon emission during waste treatment; and 
• Promote networking opportunities among the various stakeholders for successful waste management collaboration

The event could definitely bring together various stakeholders and experts from academia, industry, government and non-government organizations in the region and overseas to deliberate on issues pertaining to solid waste management.
