The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is set to roll out its 4th generation Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (G4) on 23 May 2013. Accordingly, to assist our members to better understand this new standard and its implications, BEC has invited a certified GRI trainer Mr Paul Davies, Principal and Head of Accountability at Banarra to deliver a professional talk that will cover: What is the new GRI G4? What the new reporting guidelines mean in relation to G3.1? Insights on how companies can best understand and approach G4 requirements in terms of their future reporting. About the Speaker Mr Paul Davies is a Principal and Head of Accountability at Banarra, a leading sustainability and management consultancy based in Sydney, Australia. In addition to his role at Banarra, Paul is also a certified GRI trainer, a member of the GRI G4 working group on management approach disclosures, and a member of the GRI G4 Practitioner's Network. Building upon the vast amount of in-depth experience on over 100 reporting, materiality, stakeholder engagement, strategy, community standards and assurance projects for various sectors ranging from property to finance to legal and services, he has delivered training programmes on GRI, auditing, and materiality to organisations both nationally and internationally.
