New year flower recycling urged

Cycle of life: These peach blossom trees will be recycled into wood fuel pellets and composting materials.
The Environmental Protection Department and the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Association have jointly organised a peach blossom tree recycling campaign.
People can bring their peach blossom trees to 50 designated collection points. Locations and opening hours are available here, or call 2496 7633 or 2404 9188 for enquiries.
The collected trees will be delivered to the EcoPark Hong Kong Hung Wai Wooden Board Company for recycling into wood fuel and composting materials.
To recycle other flowers or tangerine pots, visit the Hong Kong Waste Reduction Website for a list of recycling organisations.
