Large waste treatment facility needed

Hong Kong needs large waste-to-energy facilities that are reliable, Secretary for the Environment KS Wong says.
Speaking to reporters after attending a public event today, Mr Wong said Hong Kong is planning its first waste-to-energy facility, and it must be robust and suited to the city’s needs.
He recently visited the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden to learn about their waste treatment policies.
